Peter Hurd (February 22, 1904 - July 9, 1984) was an American painter who lived and worked in San Patrico, New Mexico. He is equally acclaimed for his western landscapes and his portraits. He studied under the famous illustrator N.C.Wyeth and was married to Wyeth’s eldest daughter Henrietta, also an accomplished painter.
